Happy Valentine’s Day! Let’s be honest,
that’s what most people consider the most important part of February to be Valentine’s Day. It’s understandable. Each of us has a desire to love
and be loved in return. God made us that way.
He designed us so that we can share in His love for us, and in turn share that love with others. But it’s easy to get distracted by all the romance movies out there and the constant bombardment
of ads for jewelry isn’t it? But we need to look past that every once in
a while and look to the original source of love, God Himself. “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever
believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16 This month we’re hosting
a desert theater that talks about just that. On Friday, February 24th, the Slusser’s Chapel Youth Group will be performing “A Crudgemuffin Valentine”, a fun and laughter filled drama that shows us the true meaning of Valentine’s
Day: God’s Love. We will begin selling tickets on Sunday, Feb. 5th. Adults are $7.50 and children
are $5.00 (We'll also be providing FREE baby-sitting for Kids 5 and under) Also, please
be in prayer for the upcoming State Youth Convention next month. We will be posting
